Myriad Magic

Still remembered Jubilation! and how I joined the rest of the 100-strong hybrid choir (alumni and HC) in my first ever choir concert. Then it was hard-core training and off to Bremen Olympics where the most memorable piece we sang was "Amor de mi alma" (at least I think so) translated as "You are the love of my life" and I believe it is this dedication to choir and this pledge of loyalty and trust to each other that we won the judges over. Fast-forwarded to Carolling which was one of the most meaningful Christmas I ever had then to this year's SYF and the last addition to the list of events was of course, Myriad, successfully held last night. But with every augmentation made to my memories of choir, it just puts forth yet another message: that the particular event has forever became part of history, only to be immortalised in our memories until our eventual retrogradation when we age.
Myriad was fantastic!! For the little time we invested, we have reaped more than what we could have asked for. Audience response was positive, the feeling on stage was good except for one or two songs, and overall everyone felt contented and exhilarated over the performance which I feel is most important of all. Must thank all who came down to support. A12 peeps and Xinyu and many others I may have left out accidentally, hope you all had a great time! I must say choir has brought me so much happiness, especially after every concert/performance/competition we have endured TOGETHER. Not so much the sense of accomplishment but rather the remuneration of having more of such chances to come. But now, as these chances are rapidly being cut and the countdown to our last practice and eventually stepping-down is ever so real, I couldn't help imagine us j2s relinquishing all duties affiliated to choir officially and starting the intensive and much dreaded mugging period...
So well let's enjoy ourselves while we can! Be the hedonist as time permits and all shall come naturally.
