The recent NKF scandal was splashing the newspaper bulletin. The discussion forums and headlines were following the NKF case in great detail. Think Du Lai is really an incoherent (look at the way he gets stuck with questions in court) and ineffective rat who's really bit the dust this time. $999 for a tap and 12 months bonus and his nonchalant attitude during his court case was most infuriating. Poor patients of the NKF. The innocent party here.

Today there are already 4000 people pulling out their donations to the NKF and there's been some serious vandalising acts made to the NKF building too. Doubt they will be able to regain the trust of the people who have so believed in them to support the good cause they are fighting for. 2 plus billion dollars in their reserves, enough to aid needy patients for 40 years and they didn't disclose it, fine. An uncaring and sordid top official of a charitable organisation who doesn't seem to understand the meaning of charity and frugality and prudence, fine.

Worst thing is such luxury and exaggerating welfare systems, the gross salary of $1800000 a year is referred to as "peanuts" by Mrs Goh Chok Tong definitely is thought-provoking, not to mention appalling.
