There appears to be nothing to share at this point. If you notice I share more of my thoughts, my views of the books I read, phrases I have picked up, snippets from conversations I have with the people around me, instead of my life. It has been quite a long time since I last blogged about my life, or rather, my life activities, since I am not really writing a biography here.
Life has just reached a stagnant period, with minor fluctuations, monotonous routine and a programme-packed schedule all the way until ORD, which makes the latter seem further than ever. Some people say when you go through motion, time tends to fly fast. But that is only because you neglected time when you busied yourself doing things. Overlooking the role time plays allows us to feel how fast one year has passed, as some of my peers have remarked. Such a comment then tends to stir up much recollections of the past, since time once again crossed our minds.
I guess no matter how much I can miss any portion of the past 18 years I have left behind, I have no chance to relive those months, days, hours and minutes again. And even if I do, I doubt it will ever be the same again. Even if the time remains the same, we have changed, and the space would have changed.
Right now, I guess I shall continue to live through my upcoming days as how it has been planned for me, and maybe try to add some life to my "life", which is being deadened with each dreading thought. Having reviewed what I have written at different phases of my life this year, I must say it has been an accomplishment. At least I have accumulated quite a number of wild-fire stories that I can tell, if I even want to, that is.
Liberty does have a new price.
