Half-way mark

Forgotten when I last changed my blogskin, but I haven't really blogged about revamping the layout and design everytime I did. For those who remember, I did this only about 3 times, and yes, I haven't exempted black from the main colour of the design, as always. Black is such a good colour, shrouded in mystery, and taking out everything with it. I remember when I went for drawing lessons in primary school, there were times when greed took over and I resorted to using too many colours for small objects, things like the bag or clothes of a person, and the colour scheme was too messy. So in the end I just used black to wipe out (or rather tidy up) the hash. Same goes for painting backgrounds. When a colour that doesn't really match the rest of the drawing was used, I would use black or a dark shade of navy blue and paint over those "damaged" areas. Black became a tool of destruction, but a tool of creation as well. After all, how can one create without destroying?

I figured it will be nearing the half-way mark of the year, which means a countdown to many things. The main one goes without mention. So to the next half of 07, may all the good things lie in wait.
