10 Things I Like About My Class
Monday, September 24, 2007
It's been quite long since I uploaded pictures to do with daily life. Frankly speaking, I don't really blog too much about what I do each day because firstly if this were a personal log, I will already have known what I do day by day and I will rather commit the more memorable stuff to my memory. (Like of course, memorable stuff to memory) And I doubt my daily monotonous routine will be even worthy of attention and time even for the free and idle. And ultimately, if this place becomes as dead as a desert (wait is a desert really very dead?) then I will just feel as though I am ranting to a piece of wall echoing throughout cyberspace... 4. We go for K sessions
1. We remember birthdays
Yes and I was one of the three "lucky" ones to have my birthday celebrated. Wanted to add another point that "we seem to like to be reminded of the past" since the place that picture was taken is at the Fortune 煮炒店 (which was "somewhere near school", that being the requirement for the proposed venue) where we had our dinner. Not PS. Not orchard. Maybe we just happen to be running on a budget... And not just one time... After MAF too...
2. We speak in chinese
Sorry no picture for this one...
Except for this.. Can't help doing my bit for promoting mandarin... But yes we speak in chinese and test each other idioms and even amuse ourselves with the occasional recalling of quotes from old textbooks and lines from poems that ring a distant bell..
Ok I used this one because this shot is like the third or fourth try... Xf was like "eh smile more leh" so I was like "er ok...." and Jasmine was going "Ooi we act like we dunno each other" after the first shot. For the sole sake of saving whatever little face I have, I shall not post the previous attempts.. But yes I must say smiling for the camera is only momentous but a smile is eternalised by the comfort of having known you guys. Even when nowadays each of us are here, there or somewhere... at least we bring our memories wherever we go.
And are loving it. Oops not Macdonalds the Ksession that is.... But yeah we have Rainy Yang replicas, hokkien song successors (made up of a certain duet, so they can sing 一人一半 next time), canto singers, jackie cheung fans, and a song patcher. (aka someone who has to sing any part of a song, the chorus or the opening, or the ending, or the rap, not because he is good but because that part of the song is conveniently forgotten by the person who picked the song.. Lol..)
Whoo 14 people this year! We actually have more than last year! Must maintain...
6. The girls are full of, ahem, pleasant surprises
I admit I don't look exactly convinced in the picture but seriously, "someone's" cooking is really good. Doesn't really take an expert to guess who I am talking about when the answer is practically staring at you. But I am sure there are pretty more hidden talents waiting to be uncovered... hopefully.
Enough said... They don't say a picture speaks a thousand words for nothing. Then again, sometimes it is a situation whereby “此时无声胜有声". Hmm...

Yes so anyone interested in farewell parties please call the hotline- 1900-birthdaysurprise.. Look for Xf or mavis since the third honourary member of the team happens to be the one going overseas this time...
But we are a colourful lot.. Even with our complex combination from subject combies in the jc times to personality differences to clique permutations, we do come together, albeit a little painstakingly, but we make an effort to and I hope we will continue to. Well it's a wish. But if we choose the same option, it will be inevitable.
